Biyanka Dhother Clinical Psychology

Biyanka Dhother
Senior Clinical Psychologist
I am a licensed Brisbane-based clinical psychologist with a passion for helping adults navigate life’s challenges and move toward greater self-understanding, emotional resilience, and meaningful change. I have over ten years of experience as a practicing psychologist, with a background spanning private practice, inpatient, and outpatient settings. I offer a compassionate, collaborative, and client-centred space where you can explore barriers and develop practical tools for growth.

Whether you're facing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, life transitions, or a desire for personal growth, I aim to provide a non-judgemental, safe, and caring space for exploration and healing.

My approach to therapy is eclectic, drawing from a range of evidence-based modalities to meet each client’s unique needs and goals. I believe therapy should be a space where you feel heard, supported, and empowered to make changes that matter most to you. Whether you're working through something specific or seeking deeper insight into long-standing patterns, I'm here to support your journey.

I understand that seeking mental health support can be anxiety inducing and challenging for many people, and I aim to make therapy a comfortable and safe space for all.

I believe that there are no trivial concerns, and I am open to discussing anything that may be impacting your mental health and well-being. I look forward to meeting you, getting to know you, and being there for you with each step.

In my personal life, I find joy in simple moments—spending time with my husband and our two-year-old daughter, being in nature, and exploring new recipes in the kitchen. I believe that genuine connection and openness are key to meaningful relationships, both personally and professionally, and I’m always happy to share more about myself if you’d like to know.
